In this image
you can see the eyes starting to take form. Our
eyelids are really sticking out now. |

Building out the
nose
I once again start to
carve around the eyes and nose of my sculpture. I now
want to add some details to the nose so I cutout little slits
in the bottom of the nose to form the nostrils. |
 |
Carving out the
pupils
Taking my carving saw I
cutout little squares to form the pupils for the eyes. |
 |
The eyes look
a little rough still but they are getting close to
completion. I think I still need the eyes and cheeks
to stand out more so I once again carve out the outline of
my shapes. |

Just remember
that every time I carve away I go back and shave down the
corners so that the carved area has a rounded effect. |
